I offered amendments dealing with the children of legal immigrants and also to provide. if we are going to go into these rather draconian measures in cutting off help and assistance to these children. to another amendment. which has been described in the RECORD earlier today. to help and assist the local counties and communities where they are going to have a particular burden. trying to implement the provisions to terminate help. assistance to poor children. I have a fuller explanation on that. I will not take the time of the Senate on those measures. which are more fully explained in the RECORD earlier today.
