Session #102 · 1991–93

Speech #1020226500

As a youngster. TED WEISS and his family were victims of rising antiSemitism in Hungary. their native land. His experiences as a victim of the Holocaust and as a refugee from warravaged Europe served as a living memorial for all of us who had the pleasure of working with him on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. TED WEISS constantly reminded us of what could happen if the United States stuck its head in the sand and refrained from Intervening for humanitarian causes throughout the world. The hardships TED WEISS and his family were forced to endure could be repeated if we as a free people do not constantly remain diligent.
