During a recent conference the Republican Institute held here in Washington. leaders of the Kuwaiti opposition. Including those women resistance fighters. agreed that the new Parliament may be elected by the presently select group of voters because that Is the law of the land. One of the first tasks of this new Parliament would be to expand the suffrage to include all Kuwaiti citizens. IncludIng women and naturalized citizens. In other words. they want to do everything in strict accordance with the constitution. I think this is remarkable.
