Mr. President. reserving the right to object. and I will not object. obviously at this time in the evening we cannot run the Cloakroom wires. but in view of the fact if there were an objection the majority leader would have to do one of two things. One. he would have to bring the Senate in at noon in order to have a vote at 1 oclock or a little past 1. or he would have to come in and if the cloture motion carried that would mean that the Senate would have to continue with that business to the exclusion of all other business which would mean the continuing resolution would have to await the final outcome on the immigration bill and. thus. the closing down of the Government would be accelerated. So I am going to take the liberty on this side. having stated that for the Record. that we have not objection.
