Session #99 · 1985–87

Speech #990271333

Orlov. just recently released from Siberia. is a perfect example. Naum and Inna Meiman are another excellent example. Socially isolated from society. the Meimans await the opportunity to emigrate to the West. Inna is deathly ill with a cancerous tumor on her neck. After the removal of four tumors. the Soviet doctors feel there is nothing more they can do for her fifth and most recent tumor. Fortunately there is experimental treatment available for Inna in the West. Let us not have Inna die a slow and painful death. I strongly urge the Soviet Union to allow the Meimans to emigrate to Israel.*
