Mr. President. I express my strong support for the nomination of Jonathan Moore to be U.S. Coordinator for Refugees Affairs and Ambassador at Large. I commend the administration for making an outstanding choice for an extraordinarily important post. Although Jonathan is a Republican. I have come to know him well in recent years. ever since he became director of the John F. Kennedy Institute of Politics at Harvard University. He has played a key role in the bipartisan development and growth of the institute. which is one of the most important memorials to President Kennedy. and which has contributed in many important ways to an understanding of politics in our society.
