I frankly think that Nicaragua being on the Central American mainland. a lot closer to the Texas border than many points throughout the Northeast and Midwest and Northwest United States are to the Texas border. is really dangerous and that the explosion of the region in revolution would really tie up the United States right here south of our border. conceivably create massive flows of refugees northward and change the world balance between the United States and the Soviets remarkably. Now. I do not think doing nothing is an alternative at all.
