It is important and necessary that we take a vital part in youth guidance and foster the teachings of true Americanism. The history of America is a study of progress for the individual. It was to defend the principle of Individual rights that the Pilgrims. the countrys first refugees from tyranny. fled to these shores long before we became a nation. It was to defend this prin. ciple that the English colonies. a century and half after the Pilgrims landed. waged a war and won It. The principle of individual rights was successfully defended in two world wars. the Korean war and the Vietnam war.
