Mr. Speaker. it is my pleasure to rise today in honor of Belle Morrison. a constitutent of mine who will celebrate the joyous occasion of her 100th birthday on December 24. 1985. Belle was born in Russia and lived there for 5 ears before her family immigrated to the United States. 11er family originally settled in Philadelphia. but she lived most of her life in Chicago where she was quite active in community affairs. Bel!e and her late husband. William. were blssed with three children. four grandchiliren. and eight greatgrandchildren. Belle has lived in California for more than 35 years and currently resides in Santa Monica.
