First I want to commend the gentleman from Kentucky for his help on an issue important to my district and my State. targeted refugee aid. and to commend my good friend from California for his efforts in this regard as well. I bring to the attention of this House the committee report language adopted unanimously by the full committee last week which directs OMB to release $11.5 million in disputed refugee funds. The gentleman from California led the effort to secure this language making It clear to OMB that Congress intended all $89 million appropriated for the Targeted Assistance Program In 1985.
