Laura Elena Martinez Herring. of El Paso. TX. Laura was selected as Miss El Paso in 1983 and went on to be chosen Miss TexasU.S.A. in 1984. Last night. Laura was successful once again as she captured not only the title of Miss U.S.A.. but the hearts of all Americans as well.
