Two days later. on May 22. 1981. two men in a black sedan followed Judge Hupp from Philadelphia to Maryland. approximately 125 miles. Judge Hupp sought the assistance of Maryland police and the FBI during the course of this incident. The black sedan managed to elude two Maryland plainclothes police detectives. On May 26. 1981.
