I would like to clarify with the chairman of the LaborHHS Subcommittee a technical matter regarding the provision regarding refugee assistance. This resolution provides. as the last conference report did. that all refugee assistance would be provided at the levels and under the terms and conditions of the Senate version of the LaborHHS appropriation. Unfortunately. the reference in the House substitute. which passed. inadvertently changed the reference from the Senatepassed bill to the Senatereported bill. But my main concern is that the Senatereported bill contains a technical error which we intend to correct when the bill comes to the floor.
