Charles Kouri attended local schools. played football. baseball. and basketball. and graduated from his local Chelsea High School. He went on to college and later to dental school. married his college sweetheart. and served his country with distinction in World War II. After the war. he returned to Chelsea to practice dentistry and to raisea family of his own. Most men might have been content with these achievementsa professional career. a beautiful wife. and a fine .family. But Charles Kouri felt he needed to do more.
