Speaker. this week marks the end of 29 years of service to his community for Dr. Charles M. Kouri of Chelsea. Okla In that 29year period. Dr. Kouri has proved that in America. as in no other country on Earth. one man can make a difference. I think it is appropriate then to call to the attention of this body the outstanding record of public service which this Immigrants son has achieved. Dr. Kouris father came to Oklahoma from Lebanon in the early years of this century to begin a new life in a country where his children could grow and prosper according to their own abilities.
