We are still a minority among minorities and we do not forget that. JACL Is abaut to celebrate Its 50th year of existence. While much has been accomplished--citizenship for the issel. Immigration bars removed. helping to tell the Japanese American storybut people are fickle. forgetful and factious. Human nature is that way. Hence. the purpose for founding JACL in 1930 is still validthat persons of Japanese ancestry shall not be denied their freedom and rights because of race. creed or color.*
