The son of an amputee. Mr. Strauss came to this country from Israel in 1948. a penniless immigrant. He opened a small camera repair shop at 930 F Street NW. This small shop has grown to a $1millionayear business. the largest individually owned camera repair outfit in the United Statesincluding branches in six cities.
