May I say. Mr. Chairman. it is difficult to take sides as between friends. and usually one tries not to. In this particular instance. I support the gentleman from Ohio in his request for funds to reactivate the joint committee. If in the wisdom of the House. the House decides not to supply these funds. I shall. of course. want to exert every effort to see that these matters that have been brought out here today are looked into completely by the Subcommittee on Immigration here on the House side. I would urge support for the position of the gentleman from Ohio.
