May I ask this question. and perhaps I am being unkind to my chairman. in the event the House should turn down the amendment which is to be offered by the gentleman from Ohio and refuse to make funds available to the Joint Committee on Immigration Policy. as he requests. do you not believe these matters are of such serious nature that notwithstanding what the House might do with respect to the Joint Committee. that all of us on the Committee on the Judiciary. interested in this subject matter. ought to appear before the House Committee on Administration urging the necessary funds so this investigation might go forward?
