Perhaps the Senator knows that our Nation used its influence to make Germany agree to reimburse the Jewish immigrants to Israel for the terrible sacrifices they were compelled to undergo by the Nazis. My best recollection is that the amount of money Germany agreed to repay to its former JewishGerman citizens exceeds $500 million. That is almost twice as much as our whole war claims fund for American citizens.
