Mr. Speaker. if the gentleman will yield. I would like to call to the attention of the House the fact that this is the usual resolution staying the deportation of certain aliens who have been in the United States for over 7 years and who have been investigated over a period of the last 5 years in the United States. every one of whom is married to an American girl and has American children. and the failure to adopt this resolution presents the possibility of the deportation of the fathers of American children and the husbands of American wives. We have adopted resolutions of this sort on numerous occasions. This is the last one under a program that was evolved during the 80th Congress.
