In my congressional district we have 50 cases of MexicanAmericans who are up for deportation. and they have wives and children. They are costing an average of $150 per family to the relief agencies. These people have been good citizens. There is no crime charged against them. They did come across the border and are known as wetback or illegal entrants. but they have made good citizens. This type of legislation does affect that. It is throwing a great burden on local. county. and State officials. and it takes some 8 months for these people to get back. if they can get back.
