Session #76 · 1939–41

Speech #760054641

Mr. Speaker. if we want to accomplish anything at all. we have to give these problems more serious consideration. Members of this House may not always agree upon the methods to be used in dealing with this important issue. but there ought to be some way of meeting the common enemy of our form of government. I submit these facts for your consideration because I believe that if you will cooperate with the Committee on Immigration. without interfering or trespassing upon the prerogatives of any other committee of this House. we can definitely and positively eradicate the menace of naziism. fascism. and communism.
