You do not have to thank God. we thank you. What the gentleman ought to get first is that a man who obtains his papers under false pretenses is not a citizen in the true sense of the word and that his papers could be canceled. If a petition is presented. upon proper legal evidence before a court that this man has failed to disclose a material fact. his papers are canceled. and this can be done by the Department of Labor. The next step is. that if a person obtained his admission by fraud. not being entitled to come to this country because he was guilty of an offense involving moral turpitude. in that he was convicted in his own country of larceny or some other crime which would have excluded him from this country had he disclosed the true factsif he is guilty of either of these two charges. we can dispose of him by canceling his citizenship papers and deporting him. This would apply to Fritz Kuhn as well as to others who find themselves in similar circumstances.
