Mr. President. I feel that it is not inopportune or improper to invite the attention of the Senate. and particularly the members of the Committee on Immigrationand I am a member of that committeeto certain conditions in Germany which have most serious and tragic consequences. I appreciate that there are boundaries which should not be crossed in discussing the conduct of other nations and particularly the actions of executive officials in other governments. The people of every country have the right to set up that form of government which they regard as best suited to their conditions. and it necessarily follows that they have the right to determine their own domestic and internal affairs.
