I wish to suggest to the Senator in charge of the bill that the Senator from Idallo yesterday asked that this bill might have due consideration. While. of course. we all abhor the introduction into. this country of An alien wh11o is all anarchist. a judicial ascertainmieit ought to be made of the fact. I think that is a point which is very w.vortily of consideration. Under the present law or custoi an itmmligration officer may render a decision which involves the right of a human being. and that immigration officer may be ignorant of law. lie may refuse anything like a fair hearing. and I believe the courts have held that there is no appeal from his decision. that is to say. his decision will not be interfered with by the courts. I think- that is the decision.
