Speech #650237545

ILrejoiee that we have here in this bill a provision which. wlll enable the authorities at once to arrest these anarchists who trample on our flag and who. would destroy. our Constitution and our laws. I am quite willing. in fact I would be. glad. to see this. law made permanent and apply in peace as well as in war. There is n. place in this country- fOrthisclass of agitators who. impudently attempt.. as soon. as they. arrive in this. country. to destroy. the Government which has given them the privilege of. coming within. its borders. and I regret: thht there is- not a provision in the bill for their. deportation. I hope the provisions of this bill wilt he sternly and. rigorously- enforced. So far.
