Mr. Speaker. I desire to call the gentlemans attention to the immigration act. which endeavors to set forth the meaning of " anarchist." without desiring to take up the time of the House. A great deal of attention has been given to the word. with the result that we provide in a section of the act that the following classes shall be excluded: Anarchists or persons who believe in or advocate the overthrow by force or violence of the Government of the United States or of all forms of.law. or who disbelieve in or oppose all organized government. or who advocate the assassination of public officials. or who advocate or teach the unlawful destruction of property.
