We are voting on a measure today providing for selective conscription. and in all human probability in the course of the next few months we are going to send hundreds of thousands of American boys. either American born or naturalized. to the infernos of France to fight. Our country as yet has not reached the point where we are bleeding white. Many of the allied countries over there are today and for the last 18 months have. been bleeding white.
