Madam President. I appreciate the courtesy of the Senator from Massachusetts earlier who made it possible for us to get an order for speaking. Let me associate myself with the remarks made by the Senator from Tennessee relative to card check. It is totally inappropriate to eliminate secret ballots in a democracy. I wish to talk a little bit about the immigration bill. This is going to come to a vote in a few minutes. or in about an hour. and there are some serious issues relative to the process. Since this is a process vote. I wanted to raise those issues.
