The administration and the Open Borders Lobby has not been successful in redefining the term amnesty. They cant convince you or me or the American people that its not amnesty if you grant someone a pass or a pardon to stay here. because it might be coupled with paying a fine. and the fine somehow is supposed to be a substitute for 6 months in jail and/or deportation. But whatever the current penalty is for violating. the law is what it is. If you reduce that penalty and if you change the law. that means youve provided a pardon. and thats amnesty. and especially when the fine that theyre proposing is a fine thats generally significantly less than it would cost to hire a coyote to bring you. smuggle you into the United States.
