This new majority has once again promised us an open and fair process. but again they have failed to live up to the promises now that theyre out from under the spotlight of their election year. This is extremely disappointing considering the remarkable importance of the legislation before us today. the Homeland Security Authorization Act. Among some of the provisions that were stripped out of the bill completely. a pilot program for mobile biometric identification of illegal aliens apprehended at sea. denying alien smugglers use of maritime routes and enhanced penalties for alien smuggling. and requiring immigration checks for employees at highrisk critical infrastructures. Whats so scary about those being in the bill. I would ask?
