I thank the Senator for asking the question. This is not an unknown issue. We all understand it. The Congress understands it. The election is over. People can decide whether they survived or failed because of their position one way or another on immigration. The reality of what she and I talk about is so real today. We knew it then. we know it now. We have the 60 votes. We have had them for some time. There is no question in my mind. with the reforms we are talking about. this could become law and we could pass it in the Senate.
