Instead of working on this misguided bill. we could have done the alternative. we could have done the stem cell. we could have fixed the Medicare prescription drugs. we could have allowed drug importation. If we didnt want to do real health care reform. there are a lot of other things we could have done. such as raise the minimum wage. We could have finished the job on immigration reform. strengthening the enforcement at the border and stopping illegal immigration. but getting people on a path and out of the shadows. What about Superfund sites? We have some of the most polluted sites in the country still awaiting cleanup.
