It would mean 1.705 new personnel and all kinds of new equipment. including xray equipment at our borders. not only the borders with Mexico and the United States but Canada and the United States and along the coast of Florida. which is very important to our State in the region where I come from. This is a very. very important bill to beef up the Customs portion and to put us on track where we can actually have the right personnel. the right equipment at every level. in source countries. transit and at the border. to really fight a true war against drugs.
