I hope the Committee on the Judiciary. will consider H.R. 7. and at least have the guts to raise the issue and quit ducking the issue. The 5th article of the 14th amendment specifically says Congress will have the responsibility to enforce the appropriate statutory sections. This is our responsibility. It is not the states of the United States. it is not even the illegal aliens responsibility. it is our responsibility. If those of us think that this is too hot an issue to talk about. too hot to take care of. then maybe we ought to talk about going somewhere else. because the Constitution says this issue falls square in the lap of the Congress of the United States.
