I remember from the 104th Congress this was an initiative that was begun then to do what was right to make sure the United States has our Embassy in the capital of Israel. just like we have our Embassy in the capital of every other country. I think it is also important to point out that this legislation makes some very important points with regard to Cuba. It puts more controls on the Castro dictatorship. Just like the fact that a representative and spokesperson for Fidel Castro spoke out against this legislation. which should give us reason. as well. to vote for the bill. I think it is also important to have my colleagues on both sides of the aisle realize that this legislation sensibly funds refugee programs around the world. So here we have a bill that deserves the support. I believe. of Members.
