I would have preferred that the bill contain provisions relating to human rights problems in Ethiopia. While the current government in Ethiopia is much better than the previous government in the area of human rights. there is still much work to be done. I am concerned by reports that academicians. journalists and opposition leaders are being persecuted for their beliefs and efforts against the current government.
