Ask any major urban municipal hospital administrator about the incredible burdens placed upon them In terms of health care. et cetera. Medicaid. Medicare. et cetera. as It relates to those illegal aliens. And there Is a chain and a network in some of those hospitals where people who came in and claim all kind of political sanctuary and then they go right to a municipal hospital and have a costly medical procedure that costs tens of thousands of dollars. And when they get done with that procedure. they go right back to the nation that they may have come from. We have hundreds of people coming into New York annually. just for those purposesto get medical care. While we are attempting to find out how to reduce the burden to our overtaxed consumers we have a situation in this countryand if it exists in New York it exists In every other major areawhere you have an underground network that facilitates the flow of people who come in here. who claim they lose their papers. who are paroled out. who then during this process spend a few days. get their card which will enable them to then get medical benefits. get their green card. And the hospital is forced to give them the most expensive medical treatment available. They are now entitled to all of the constitutional protections that any U.S. citizen is entitled to.
