One of the first Arabicspeaking immigrant groups to reach the shores of America traces its ancestry to the country of Lebanon. Enriching the State of Michigan in numerous ways. LebaneseAmericans have been involved in society at all levels. They have contributed not only in their traditional communityoriented role but also in the fields of education. political life. and economic development. In addition. they have remained a dynamic people and add in an innovative manner to the development of this Nations multicultural mosaic.
