The House accepted our additional funding for disasters in Africa. our increase for population planning assistance. Senate earmarks for the people in Bosnia. Hercegovina. and Kosovo as well as refugee assistance in Croatia. aid to the former states of the Soviet Union. Eastern Europe. and the Baltic States. and for a number of important programs aimed at helping children. The conference report contains an amendment offered on the Senate floor requiring that the administration provide certification that Morocco is cooperating with the United Nations with respect to the Western Sahara situation. a certification which I have no doubt will be provided quickly.
