The committee has increased funding for other high priority items including population programs. the Export Import Bank and several international organizations and programs such as UNICEF. IAEA. and UNEP. A special exception has been made to include funding for drought related assistance in Africa. Refugee assistance has been maintained at last years level. which is a substantial increase over the administrations request.
