This is a rare opportunity to make the positive difference we all wish to make. I urge my colleagues to support S. 1216. the Chinese Student Protection Act when it comes to the floor in the near future. In another thousand days. it will be too late for thousands of Chinese nationals who wish to become Americans. Let us act now to avoid a forced deportation and uncertain future of these desperate people. Mr. President.
