Mr. President. I continue to hope. I continue to believe in the common sense of the participants involved in the discussion of these guarantees. that the humanitarian needs of those who have suffered so long will barry the day. and we will resolve the differences. To have been victims of religious repression is bad enough. but to become victims of a pointless dispute between governments which are allies and friends. why. these emigrants must be wondering why they left. They must be wondering why they left. We should send a message of support and hope today by supporting this resolution.
