But I fear that we may get to see the Sun come up and so. while waiting. we will take this opportunity to deliver a message. Mr. President. I am worried about the direction in which America is headIng today. It is made worse by the lack of Presidential leadership on the economy. I fear that we are rapidly making the American dream of a better life more and more difficult to achieve for a large portion of working Americans. That means that the America we know and lovethe America where opportunity aboundsis in serious danger. I am the son of immigrants and I have lived the American dream. That is why I sought to serve in the U.S. Senate.
