Congress will have a chance to indicate whether they are going to act in complicity with the inhumane policy of the administration. because the resolution that has been proposed by Congressman RANOEL. we hope to have on the floor of the Congress next week. That is a simple resolution which can be summarized by saying. for Gods sake. let us treat the Haitians as we treat all other political refugees anywhere else in the world. I want to end my comments by calling upon the NAACP. the Urban League. TransAfrica. the Urban Coalition. all the organizations which are primarily concerned with the wellbeing of AfricanAmericans in this country or people of AfricanAmerican descent everywhere.
