I heard testimony after testimony concerning the pain this Depression era law is inflicting on citizens between the age of 65 and 70. Mr. Vincenzo "Nino" Cristiano was one of those hurt by the earnings limit. He spoke out forcefully against the law and gave me a letter protesting the limit. Nino is an example of America at its best. He immigrated from Italy in the 1950s and opened up an Italian restaurant in Long Beach. He has worked hard his whole life and deserves more respect than he has received from the Social Security Administration. Seniors that work are being taxed at a rate higher than that of Donald Trump.
