Session #102 · 1991–93

Speech #1020072989

I have talked to many Montanans in recent months. and I know that many people still face hard times. They arent only worried about how to pay for their childs college education or how to buy a new car. they are worried about how to pay for their familys next meal and how to make sure there is a bed for their children to sleep in. That is why I hope that President Bush will recognize that the plight of the unemployed in this Nation Is as important as the plight of the Kurdish refugees. The President should join us in helping those still feeling the impact of an economic recession. Of course. there is a cost to this.
