Captain Villavere came to this country with his parents from Castros Cuba..with nothing more than the shirt on his back. As a young man. he worked two jobs In order to pay for his flying lessons to become a pilot. Eventually he attained his dream. becoming an airline captain. He also became a chief pilot for a major military contractor. and has now distinguished himself by rising to the top of his profession. Uke many other Cuban refugees. Captain Villaverde is very grateful to the United States for giving him the opportunity to live his dream. He knows that had he stayed in Cuba. he would have been unable to achieve his dream of becoming a pilot.
