For the past few years. we have seen a pattern of Azerbaijani aggression against Armenian villages with the apparent sanction of. if not direct aid from Moscow. Since 1988. Armenians have been massacred and forced out of their homes In the towns of Sumgat. Girovabad. and Baku. Azerbaijan has used naked aggression In an effort to forcefully remove Armenians from NagomoKarabagh. uprooting them from villages and lands that have been their home for many generations. This forced removal has resulted in hundreds of deaths and created hundreds of thousands of Armenian refugees. Such violence must end. Instead of aiding Azerbaijanl aggression.
